I had the wifi problem also with my iPhone5 low speeds. I guess there is some IOS 6 software glitch for the wifi. For some reason I was playing with the settings on it and turned off the cellular data did a speedtest.net run on it and my speed went up then when i turned cellular data on speeds went back down (this happens when I'm pretty far from my modem).
